YBST is committed to
quality instruction. Our 6-8 players per instructor ratio
allows for small groups and individualized attention.
Why is our clinic named Spring
Training?
Although we conduct our clinics
in the winter and summer we appropriately named it Spring
Training because the camps are designed after Major League
Spring Training. Campers do the same drills and receive the
same fundamental instruction as Big Leaguers do in Spring
Training. The only difference is we tailor it to kids to allow
for a positive and instructional atmosphere that is most importantly
fun.
Our goal is to get kids excited about
baseball so they will enjoy the game and continue to play
for years to come.

Since 1997, it has been my privilege
to teach baseball to the kids of San Diego. I have always been
very committed to improving skills and building confidence.
It is my goal and vision to teach every camper the fundamentals
of baseball and get them excited about the game. Whether it
be hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, or speed/agility,
campers will leave our clinic with better skills. Our staff
is made of current and former professional baseball players.
These instructors love the game of baseball and enjoy working
with kids. Having fun in every drill is essential, but quality
instruction is always at the forefront of our staff's minds.
There is no substitute for professional instruction, and in
a small group setting (6-8 kids per instructor) learning is
maximized. |
